Well, I can't believe it's all over. It's kind of sad but also kind of a relief because I can get my life back now!

Today was so wonderful - everything I had hoped it would be and much much more. The crowds were brilliant and the atmosphere was really special.

Thank you to everyone who came to join in the celebrations and thank you to anyone who helped in any way.

Thank you to Mayor Mo Marsh for opening the event with me.

Thank you to Sophie Cook for closing the event with me and for saying that you have been to many Prides but that this was your favourite.

Thank you to the National Lottery for the Big Lottery grant and to our other sponsors.

Thank you to everyone for your rounds of applause for me. I am feeling rather emotional, as you can tell!

Charlie, my daughter, said that today was the best day in her life, ever! That says it all really.

What a day!
