Sadly, Brighton & Hove City Council don't deem New Road to be one in which anyone can be given a street collection permit. This means that, although we DO have a street collection permit for North Street, which is at one end of New Road, we can't collect in New Road itself. This was supposed to be one of our main ways of raising money for 2018. 🙁
However, we are allowed to collect on private property on New Road so, if you see anyone with a collection bucket with Disability Pride Brighton on it, please donate AND/OR buy some raffle tickets AND/OR use our QR code below.
AS YOU KNOW, THIS IS A FREE EVENT SO, IF YOU CAN SPARE ANY MONEY TO HELP US DO IT ALL AGAIN NEXT YEAR, WE THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Please feel free to print off this map.
Here's a message from Lunch Positive, who will be there tomorrow, making their amazing food.
Lunch Positive is really looking forward to our food stall at Disability Pride on Sunday, New Road 2-7pm. Thanks to the organisers for asking us. We'll be selling home made falafel, home made veggie & vegan pasta dishes, and tasty bruschetta, tea & coffee, cakes & cold drinks. Please come and support Disability Pride, and also help us raise funds for local charity Lunch Positive ❤
I hope we have as good a day tomorrow at Disability Pride, but I hope 26,000 don't attend! 🙂
